I just got back from Ignite Boulder. If you have one of these Ignite events in your city, GO! Or better yet, organize one yourself. It’s a lot of fun, and we drank quite a bit of free beer…

I just got back from Ignite Boulder, an event hosted and put together by the very intelligent Andrew Hyde.

These Ignite events are really cool.  Each presenter has:

  • 5 minutes
  • 20 slides
  • 15 seconds per slide (and they auto-rotate)

And they can present about whatever topic they want.  We had people present on topics as varied as:

  • Lucid dreaming
  • How to crash a party
  • What the hell angel investors are thinking
  • Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro
  • Creating your personal brand
  • Similarities between stand-up comics and start-up companies
  • Cool things you can do with CSS
