Getting more positive reviews on Amazon

Imagine you're an author releasing a new book. Offer it free to those who pre-order and write an Amazon review (100+ words, positive or negative). Refund them once the review is posted. It's an effective, affordable strategy to garner early attention upon release.

Let’s pretend you’re an author with a new book coming out.  Post on your site that anyone can get the book for free if they pre-order it AND write a review on Amazon that’s 100 words or more (even if it’s a negative review).  Then refund their money once the review is posted.

This is a cheap and easy way to stack the deck in your favor as soon as the book is released.
